This policy explains how OGRAAL, published by Ingrid GALLERINI, a qualified dietitian-nutritionist, uses cookies and similar technologies on its website ograal.com and its app ograal.app, and how you can manage them.
1. What is a cookie?
A cookie, or tracker, is a small file or piece of information stored on your device (computer, smartphone, tablet) when you visit a website or use an app. Some are essential for the service to work; others, such as analytics or advertising cookies, are only set with your consent.
2. Necessary cookies (no consent required)
These trackers are essential for the website and the app to work, or reflect a choice you have made. Under French law (Article 82 of the French Data Protection Act), they do not require consent. They are used to:
- remember your cookie choices;
- keep you signed in to your account and secure your session;
- remember the language you selected on the website;
- secure payments and prevent fraud when you buy a subscription (Stripe).
3. Analytics (with your consent)
With your consent, we use Google Analytics 4, a service provided by Google Ireland Limited, to understand how the website and the app are used and to improve them. These cookies are only set after you accept. If you decline, no measurement takes place and you keep full access to the website and the app.
We measure: pages viewed, certain actions (sign-up, sign-in, opening checkout, purchase with its amount and a transaction ID, plan generation), the type of sport and a session duration range, link campaign parameters (UTM), and technical information (device type, browser, approximate location).
No health data, email address or account identifier is sent to Google. Google Analytics advertising features (Google Signals, ad personalisation) are disabled.
4. Advertising (ograal.com website only, with your consent)
The ograal.com website may display ads served by Google AdSense (Google Ireland Limited). If you accept advertising cookies, Google may use cookies to show ads based on your interests and to measure their performance. If you decline, no advertising cookies are set; Google may then show limited, non-personalised ads.
The ograal.app app does not display any ads.
5. List of cookies

6. Retention periods
- Your choice (accept or decline) is kept for up to 6 months, after which we ask you again.
- Cookies that require consent last for up to 13 months.
- Analytics data is kept for 14 months in Google Analytics, then deleted.
7. Managing your choices
On ograal.com, a banner shown on your first visit lets you accept, decline or choose by category (statistics, advertising). You can change your choices at any time using the “Manage consent” link on the website.
In the ograal.app app, a banner lets you accept or decline analytics. You can change your choice at any time using the “Manage analytics” link. If you withdraw your consent, measurement stops and the related cookies are deleted.
Declining cookies that require consent has no effect on your access to the website or the app. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings; in that case, some features, such as signing in to your account, may stop working.
8. Transfers outside the European Union
Google and Stripe may process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, to which these companies have signed up, or on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your data, and to withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise your rights:
